Kling has more than 35 years of experience with companies including General Electric, Harris, AlliedSignal, and SPX Corp., where he served as a group president prior to joining Flowserve in 2004.

Flowserve Corp.is a leading provider of fluid motion and control products and services. Operating in 56 countries, the company produces engineered and industrial pumps, seals, and valves, as well as a range of related flow management services.

Schlumberger

Houston, has signed an agreement with Sense Intellifield to collaborate on interactive drilling operation centers. Schlumberger will provide operations management and technical services, including analysis and interpretation of data, software, connectivity, and data security. Sense Intellifield will provide complementary design, construction, commissioning, hardware and software, and system support services.

General Electric Co.

Huerth, Germany, has completed the acquisition of Everest VIT Inc. (EVIT), a Welch Allyn subsidiary headquartered in Flanders, NJ. EVIT, which provides remote visual inspection equipment for industrial applications, has approximately 300 employees at 17 locations around the world. It will become part of GE Inspection Technologies.

GE Inspection Technologies designs, manufactures, and services radiographic, ultrasonic, and eddy current equipment to test materials without deforming or damaging them.

Oilflow Solutions

Aberdeen, a new company formed by joint venture partners Vienco Oil & Gas Ltd. and AGT Energy Ltd., has opened it headquarters facility in Aberdeen. Oilflow’s board and senior management include Richard Selwa, chairman; Mike Crabtree, managing director; Rob Arnott and Hugh Crook, non-executive directors. Its scientific team, headed by Phil Fletcher, includes Catherine Leek, and Jeff Foster, all of whom hold PhDs in chemistry.

Oilflow Solutions was formed to market a range of new product systems targeted at flow optimization of heavy and waxy crudes, using Vienco’s engineering and field management expertise and AGT’s unique polymer-based chemistry.
