This new 2 in. JL9X/JLH9X high capacity cast iron-cast steel float and thermostatic trap is inline-repairable to provide maintenance savings.

The company says that reliability is ensured by the high-quality stainless steel internals and hardened valve surfaces. The unit is suited for high capacity process or heating equipment applications to as much as 450 psig steam pressure, 464˚ F. temperature, and 40,000 lb/hr condensate capacity.

Other features include:

• Double-seated valve to provide continuous, smooth, low-velocity condensate discharge as process loads vary.

• Self-aligning stainless steel valve mechanism that minimizes wear.

• An integral thermostatic capsule that vents air automatically at near-to-steam temperature, for rapid start-up, even heating, and increased productivity.

• A rating for 1,740 psig hydraulic shock; the free float offers resistance to water hammer.

The unit’s maintainable design helps simplify cleaning and installations, helping to suit it for large process or heating equipment.

This redesigned range of intrinsically safe certified instrumentation provides conventional electrical resistance and linear polarization resistance measurement.

The new family of transmitters and data loggers has a weatherproof stainless steel housing, compact enough to mount directly onto a corrosion probe. This third generation of standard measuring instruments (DCU3) may be directly mounted onto the six pin connector of a probe-extension adapter or can be supplied with a conventional probe cable for wall or post mounting.

The logger units feature compact sealed alkaline, lithium, and rechargeable battery packs with power to make and store several thousand readings.
