Amsterdam, has announced the appointment of Jorge Machnizh as chief operating officer, and David Verdun as vice-president R&D and customer support.
Machnizh was president of Image Systems Group and COO of its parent company Input/Output Inc. prior to joining Paradigm. He also had held positions with Halliburton-Landmark, and Schlumberger during his 26-year upstream industry career.
Verdun has 25 years of technology management experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, most recently as senior vice-president of GX Technology Corp.

Oklahoma City, has announced its acquisition of the shock absorber inventory and design drawings of the Security DBS Drill Bits product line of Halliburton Energy Services. This acquisition expands Quantum's array of straight hole and directional drilling tools.
