Hamilton, Bermuda, has announced that its Italian subsidiary, Foster Wheeler Italiana SpA, and the Swiss company Methanol Casale SA have formed a strategic alliance to serve the methanol production market worldwide. Methanol Casale is a leading supplier of methanol technology and has extensive plant experience. Foster Wheeler has a long, successful track record of engineering and construction of process plants and catalytic reforming furnaces. The alliance extends from business development and proposals through front-end design and EPC project execution.
Foster Wheeler Ltd. provides a broad range of design, engineering, construction, manufacturing, project development and management, research, and plant operation services to the refining, upstream oil and gas, LNG and gas-to-liquids, petrochemicals, and other industries. Based in Hamilton, Bermuda, the company’s operational headquarters are in Clinton, NJ.

Houston, has named Dick Rogers as vice-president, international, and John Tritz as vice-president, business development. Both are based in Houston.
Rogers is a graduate of Tulane University, and completed post-graduate study at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette. In addition to heading all aspects of international operations of Workstrings, he is responsible for the global operations of sister companies Superior Inspection Services and Universal Fishing & Rental Tools, all of which are based in Broussard, La.
Tritz is a graduate of Arizona State University, and completed post-graduate study at the Colorado School of Mines. He has more than 30 years of industry experience, most recently with Chevron. Prior to that, he worked for 25 years at Vetco Gray.
