Model predicts equilibrium water content of high-pressure acid gases

A new simple, theoretically based model predicts equilibrium water content of pure acid-gas components and acid-gas mixtures.The model is applicable at temperatures of 32-212° F. and pressures of 14.7-2,000 psia for pure acid-gas components and acid-gas mixtures that contain up to 5 mole % hydrocarbons.The new model provides a quantitative estimate of changes in the equilibrium water content of acid-gas mixtures due to changes in system pressure, temperature, or composition.
