Houston, has announced the appointment of Tom T. Terrell as senior vice-president for business development.

Houston, has announced the appointment of Tom T. Terrell as senior vice-president for business development. Terrell, who earned his business degree from the University of Houston, spent more than 30 years with Oil & Gas Journal, advancing from advertising sales to sales and marketing management and, until his retirement in 2002, served as petroleum group senior vice-president and publisher of the Journal.

IADC, founded in 1940, is dedicated to enhancing the interests of oil and gas and geothermal drilling contractors worldwide. The association’s membership owns most of the world’s land and offshore drilling units, and includes oil and gas producers, as well as manufacturers and suppliers of oil field equipment and services.

Mustang Engineering

Houston, has announced the establishment of operations in the Asia Pacific region with bases in Perth and Melbourne, Australia. Mustang, a subsidiary of John Wood Group PLC, is aided in its entry into Australia by sister Wood Group company, Frontier Engineering Solutions Asia Pacific. Frontier, known for its expertise in conceptual studies for offshore facilities, is being rebranded as Mustang Engineering Pty Ltd.

Mustang specializes in design, engineering, procurement, project management, and construction management of upstream oil and gas facilities and structures, as well as midstream, process plants, petrochemical and chemical projects.

John Wood Group PLC is an international energy services company that employs more than 14,000 people worldwide.

GS Engineering & Construction

Seoul, Korea, is the new name of former LG Engineering & Construction. The company, formed 37 years ago, provides engineering and construction services in areas ranging from basic infrastructure to precision construction of oil and gas, and petrochemical plants.

Flow Technology Inc.

Phoenix, Ariz., has appointed Ralph Duffill as vice-president of sales and marketing. Duffill, with more than two decades of instrumentation industry experience, previously was employed by MicroMotion.

Flow Technology Inc. manufactures a product line that ranges from turbine and positive displacement flowmeters, flow calibrators, flow controllers, and ancillary electronics. The company also maintains one of the world’s largest primary standard flowmeter calibration laboratories, and provides flowmeter calibration, service, and repair.
