Dillard, who holds an engineering degree from the University of Oklahoma, most recently was vice-president of operations at Cooper Energy Services, a division of Cooper Cameron. He was with Baker Hughes for 17 years, and also had worked for Williams Engineering, Phillips Petroleum, and Brown & Root.

AmerCable's Oil & Gas Group includes Offshore Marine Cable Specialists and newly formed AmerCable Systems, which focuses on cable assemblies.

AmerCable Inc. is a leading producer of electrical power, control, and instrumentation cables, and cable assemblies for offshore rig applications.

Dallas, has named John T. McKenna president of Dresser Instruments. McKenna has more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing, and most recently was president of the measurement and instrument division of Invensys plc. He has a BA degree in physics from College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, Mass., and an MBA from Northeastern University, Boston.

Noble Corp.

Sugar Land, Tex., has announced the appointment of William C. Kurt Hoffman as vice-president of marketing for Noble Drilling Services Inc. Hoffman has been with Noble since 1991, most recently in the position of vice-president, Western Hemisphere operations. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Southwest Texas State University, and has over 25 years of oil and gas industry experience.

Contract drilling services are performed with the company's fleet that includes mobile offshore drilling units, floating deepwater units, independent leg cantilever jackup rigs, and submersible units. Houston, has named Matt Fitzgerald as senior vice-president and chief financial officer. Fitzgerald joined Grant Prideco from Veritas DGC Inc., where he was executive vice-president, chief financial officer, and treasurer.
