Lohr, Germany, has announced that Bob Rickert will step down as president and CEO of Bosch Rexroth Corp., Hoffman Estates, Ill., and be replaced by Wolfgang Dangle, currently executive vice-president and chief financial officer.

Lohr, Germany, has announced that Bob Rickert will step down as president and CEO of Bosch Rexroth Corp., Hoffman Estates, Ill., and be replaced by Wolfgang Dangle, currently executive vice-president and chief financial officer. Dangle has held leadership positions in Germany, South Africa, and the People's Republic of China.

Rickert had more than 24 years of experience with Bosch Rexroth, and oversaw the merger of Bosch Automation Technology and Mannesmann Rexroth in 2001.

Bosch Rexroth Corp. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH, and offers comprehensive solutions for drives and motion control to a global client base.

Analytical Technology & Control Ltd. (ATAC)

Coulsdon, UK, has announced their acquisition of Sysco Analytics, a leading pioneer in the design and manufacture of quality turnkey analytical projects. The Sysco product lines include traditional measurements of boiling point, flash point, cloud point, freeze point, viscosity, vapor pressure and color, in addition to the measurement of sulfur contamination of LPG.

ATAC manufactures and markets process analyzers and systems for the refining and petrochemical industries.

Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA)

Cambridge, Mass., has appointed Michael Zenker as director for North American natural gas, as well as adding two directors and an associate director to its North American natural gas industry team.

Based in Oakland, Calif., Zenker has extensive experience with Western natural gas markets, and California's new electricity market. He holds an MBA and a BS in nuclear engineering from the University of California.

Named director, business development, Philippe A. Frangules advises CERA clients in the global gas and power industries on the strategic choices for growth. Frangules earned a BA from Bowdoin College, and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.

Marie Fagan, director, has 13 years of professional experience, with expertise in economics of gas and oil exploration and development. She holds a BS from the University of Connecticut School of Business Administration, and an MA and PhD from American University.

Mike Farina, associate director, earned a BA at Colorado State University, and an MA from the University of Colorado. He is an expert in US West gas markets, and will be based in Boulder, Colo.

Halliburton

Houston, has named Christopher Gaut as executive vice-president and chief financial officer, replacing Doug Foshee, who has been promoted to chief operating officer.

Gaut earned a BA in engineering science from Dartmouth College, and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Halliburton, he was one of three people sharing the role of president and COO of ENSCO International Inc., a leading offshore drilling contractor.

Halliburton is one of the world's largest providers of products and services to the petroleum and energy industries.

Global Industries Ltd.

Carlyss, La., has named Eric Smith as vice-president, strategic planning. In this position, he will lead the effort to increase Global's presence in the disposition and decommissioning of mature offshore properties, and advance Global's strategy of servicing the entire life cycle of an oil and gas development.

Smith's 36 years of experience includes 17 years in the synthetic fiber and organic chemical industries, and 19 years in offshore drilling and marine construction. He holds a BS in chemical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and an MBA in finance and marketing from Tulane University.

Global Industries Ltd. provides pipeline construction, platform installation and removal, diving services, and other marine support to the oil and gas industry in the Gulf of Mexico, West Africa, Asia Pacific, Middle East, South America, and Mexico's Bay of Campeche.

Houston, has announced the acquisition of Louisiana-based Eclipse Packer Co. by its Drilling & Intervention Services Div.
