GUIDE TO WORLD CRUDES: BP assays field in Gulf of Mexico

BP PLC, London, and its partners conducted a provisional assay of the Southern Green Canyon Blend crude.This medium-sulfur crude from a new producing area in deepwater Gulf of Mexico will initially be a blend from three fields. These fields include Atlantis, Holstein, and Mad Dog, located about 150 miles offshore, south of New Orleans.
