Myers earned a BS degree in industrial engineering from Mississippi State University, and a JD with honors from the University of Mississippi. He spent 10 years with Fulbright & Jaworski law firm, seven years with Baker Hughes Inc., and joined Cooper Cameron in 1995.

Precision Drilling Corp.

Calgary, has announced plans to sell its shares of Energy Industries Inc. to Toromont Industries Ltd. Energy Industries designs and manufactures modularized natural gas compression packages ranging from 100 to 5,000 HP.

Toromont represents Caterpillar and other equipment lines, maintaining dealerships in Manitoba, Nunavut, Ontario, Newfoundland and Eastern Labrador, and through Battlefield Equipment Rentals is one of Canada's premier construction equipment rental companies.

CorrOcean ASA

Oslo, has promoted Dave Rees to president of its Houston-based subsidiary, CorrOcean Inc. Rees will be responsible for developing the Houston operation to a full function service center for the CorrOcean divisions: monitoring technology, advanced integrity services, and SafeTec risk management.

Rees holds a BS degree in environmental sciences from the University of East Anglia, Norwich, England, and post graduate diplomas in management and marketing from Robert Gordon's University, Aberdeen, Scotland. With over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, he most recently served as American business development manager for CorrOcean Inc.

CorrOcean is a provider of solutions for corrosion and condition monitoring technology, asset integrity, and inspection/maintenance planning, and risk/safety management. Headquartered in Trondheim, CorrOcean has offices in 11 countries. The company is developing new product and service technology in several areas, including high accuracy sensor systems specifically designed for the deep offshore environment.

Houston, has promoted John Gibson to CEO, upon the retirement of Edgar Ortiz. Additionally, Tim Probert has been named senior executive of the newly created drilling & formation evaluation div.; and Lew Watts has been named senior executive of the solutions group.

Gibson, who has 20 years of experience in the energy and information technology industries, holds a bachelor's degree in geology from Auburn University, and a master's degree in geology from University of Houston. He joined Halliburton in 1994, serving as president/CEO of Landmark Graphics, and most recently was president of Halliburton Energy Services.

Probert holds a BS degree in geology and geography from the University of London. He has held senior executive positions with Baker Hughes and Halliburton, most recently serving as president/CEO of Input Output Inc.

Watts earned a PhD in geology from the University of Reading, UK, and has more than 20 years of experience with Shell.
