Anadarko names James Hackett as president, CEOAnadarko Petroleum Inc. has named James T. Hackett president and CEO, in what analysts call a move to help restore investor confidence in the Houston-based company. Allison Jr. retired immediately as Anadarko president and CEO. He will continue as executive chairman through Jan. 1, 2004, and then will serve as nonexecutive chairman.
