Petrofac Facilities Management

Aberdeen, has announced the appointment of Louise Ferguson as managing director of its subsidiary, Chrysalis Learning. Ferguson previously served as human resources director for Petrofac.

In addition, Petrofac Facilities Management announced that it has officially assumed management of Tullow Oil UK Ltd.'s Hewett facility in the Southern North Sea, and its Bacton Gas Terminal in Norfolk. Petrofac also will manage the six gas-producing installations in the Hewett Field, 25 miles east of Great Yarmouth.

Cambridge, Mass., has named former Forrester Research senior executive Emily Nagle Green as its new chief executive officer. Green received an MSE in computer graphics and artificial intelligence from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BSLL cum laude in theoretical linguistics from Georgetown University.

VMonitor Inc. and Baker Hughes Inc. (BHI)

Houston, have joined forces to address remote monitoring and data management needs of operators to enhance production optimization of their wells and facilities. BHI's recent equity participation in vMonitor cements the relationship.

vMonitor will work with Baker Hughes business units Centrilift, Baker Petrolite, and QuantX to deliver combined hardware/software solutions that capture, manage, and integrate remote data to monitor and optimize artificial lift, chemical injection, and permanent in-well monitoring systems.

Founded in 2000, vMonitor Inc. is an emerging technology provider with systems successfully deployed with oil and gas companies in North and South America, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific region.

Baker Hughes Inc. is a leading provider of drilling, formation evaluation, completion, and production products and services to the worldwide oil and gas industry.

American Cast Iron Pipe Co.

Birmingham, Ala., has named Jon D. Noland as sales manager for its American Steel Pipe Div. Noland earned his BS degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Alabama, and has been with American since 1992.

American Cast Iron Pipe Co., founded in 1905, is a major manufacturer of ductile iron pipe and fittings for water and wastewater industries. It also makes valves, fittings, and fire hydrants. The company's Steel Pipe Div. manufactures electric-resistant welded steel pipe for the petroleum and natural gas industries.

Natural Gas Services Group Inc.

Midland, Tex., has named W. Randy Larkin as director of sales and marketing. Larkin has more than 14 years of experience in the natural gas industry, and most recently was manager of engineering, and asset manager, for Compressor Systems Inc. He holds a BS degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas.

Natural Gas Services Group Inc. manufactures, fabricates, sells, leases, and services natural gas compressors that enhance production of oil and gas wells. The company also manufactures and sells flare systems, and flare ignition systems for plant and production facilities.

Geokinetics Inc.

Houston, has announced the appointment of David A. Johnson as president and chief executive officer. Johnson has a 30-year career in the international exploration and production business, serving most recently as president of Phillips Petroleum's Worldwide Deepwater Div.
