Norwich, UK, has announced the appointment of Alan MacKenzie as engineering services business manager. MacKenzie, a graduate of Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, had been with Baker Oil Tools since 1981 and holds patents in under-balanced completions, multilateral drilling and completions, and in expandable technologies.

In another announcement, UWG has acquired Menck GmbH, a German-based anchoring and foundations specialist, from J. Ray McDermott SA. The Menck brand will continue unchanged, and sit alongside UWG Group's other member companies: 2H Offshore, Team Energy Resources, Claxton Engineering Services, and WellCut Inc.

UWG Group provides project management, engineering design, equipment and service personnel in the areas of deepwater riser engineering, equipment sales and rental, well systems engineering, and well construction, intervention, and decommissioning. It is a major contributor to the rigless intervention and abandonment market for both platforms and subsea wells.

Waldemar S. Nelson & Co. Inc.

New Orleans, has announced the addition of Timothy Taylor to its staff as marketing specialist. Taylor has 25 years of marketing experience for Louisiana companies.

Olean, NY, has announced the promotion of three company executives.

Bradford W. Dickson, executive vice-president for Americas region, has added responsibility for business development in the European served areas region, and worldwide for marketing and new equipment sales.

Fred Conroy, vice-president and general manager of the government business unit, has been named vice-president of sales for the US.

Dick Heusinkveld, director of business development for Eurasia, has moved from the UK to Canada as director of sales for the Americas region.

Both Conroy and Heusinkveld will report to Dickson.

Dresser-Rand is a leading provider of energy conversion technology, with centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, steam turbines, expanders, gas turbine packages, and control systems for the oil and gas, chemical, and petrochemical industries.

Houston, has announced the addition of senior consultant Don Martin to oversee the company's management consulting division. Martin has more than 25 years of finance, accounting, tax, and operations experience in construction and energy related industries. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Detroit.

Ellayess

Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, is the new company formed by the merger of Aker International Resource and Lawrence Allison Group. Under the guidance of managing director, John Beton, Ellayess provides international engineering contract personnel to the oil and gas, offshore, petrochemical, construction, shipbuilding, and marine industries.

Ellayess has offices in London, Aberdeen, Stockton, and Portsmouth in the UK, and in Houston, Holland, the Middle East, and Australia. Plans are underway to open offices in Eastern Europe, and the Far East within two years.

FMC Technologies Inc.

Houston and Chicago, has acquired 55 percent interest in CDS Engineering, headquartered in Arnhem, The Netherlands, and will acquire the remaining interest in 2009.

CDS Engineering is a leader in gas and liquids separation technology and equipment for both onshore and offshore applications, and floating production systems. The company will be part of FMC Technologies' Houston-based Energy Production Systems business.

FMC Technologies Inc. designs, manufactures, and services technologically sophisticated systems and products through its Energy Systems, FoodTech, and Airport Systems businesses.

Integra Services Technologies Inc.

Pasadena, Tex., has announced the merger of its rental division with its

service division into one location in Pasadena.

Integra Services Technologies Inc., with locations throughout the US and Canada, is a controlled bolting service company that specializes in leak free startups.

Knowledge Reservoir

Houston, has appointed Martin Eldon as vice-president and general manager of Knowledge Reservoir (UK) Ltd. Eldon will oversee international operations from the company's offices in Aberdeen.
