Fusion Geophysical LLC
Norman, Okla., has announced the appointment of Alan R. Huffman as its vice-president of operations, and as president and CEO of Fusion's new subsidiary, Fusion Petroleum Technologies Inc. (FPTI), with headquarters in The Woodlands, Tex.
John P. Castagna is chairman of both entities.
Huffman, who holds a BS in geology from Franklin and Marshall College, and a PhD in geophysics from Texas A&M University, formerly served as manager of Conoco's Seismic Imaging Technology Center.
Fusion Geophysical has also announced a strategic alliance with Knowledge Systems Inc (KSI), whereby clients will be provided with a completely integrated process for pressure prediction beginning with Fusion's proprietary seismic technologies and using KSI's pressure prediction software and expertise.
Fusion Geophysical LLC is a high-end geoscience and engineering technology and services company, founded in 2000. Services include seismic survey design, seismic imaging, geopressure prediction, seismic analysis, integrated interpretation, reservoir studies, and contract research and development. In addition to its Texas-based subsidiary, FPTI, the company owns Fusion Reservoir Associates, staffed by 20 world-renowned experts in the fields of geology, geophysics, reservoir engineering, petroleum engineering, and optimization theory.
Bayou Companies
New Iberia, La., have announced the promotion of Mike Kress to vice-president of business development and marketing. His responsibilities cover all the Bayou companies, which include Bayou Coating LLC, Bayou Flow Technology, Commercial Coating Services International, and C&L Pipeline Equipment.
Additionally, Bayou Companies have named Danny Hebert as vice-president commercial, and Richard Clement to director of sales. Commercial Coating Services International has appointed Bobby Donaldson as operations director-international.
Family owned, the Bayou Companies have been in operation since 1942. They are a leading provider of coating and related services.
Victaulic Co.
LehighValley, Pa., has named Gary Moore as president of Victaulic Co. of Canada, and Baljit Virdee as vice-president, foundry operations, for Gamma Foundries.
Moore has been with Victaulic since 1988. He will be based in Rexdale, Ont.
Virdee earned a BS in chemistry from the University of British Columbia, and joined Gamma Foundries in 1995.
Victaulic Co. of Canada provides mechanical pipe joining systems for grooved and plain end piping systems. The company markets its products globally through affiliates and worldwide sales offices.
Gamma Foundries is the largest non-ferrous foundry in Canada, and provides castings to a variety of industries.

Wiesbaden, has named Wolfgang Reitzle as chief executive officer upon the retirement of Gerhard Full.
Linde AG is an international technology group comprising three business segments: gas and engineering, material handling, and refrigeration.
GlobalSantaFe Corp.
Houston, has announced the appointment of Robert L. Herrin Jr. as vice-president, and Alexander A. Krezel, already a vice-president of the company, as corporate secretary.
Herrin earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Texas Tech University, and is a CPA. He has responsibility for GlobalSantaFe's worldwide internal audit function.
As vice-president, corporate secretary, and associate general counsel, Krezel has responsibility for corporate governance matters, as well as serving as legal counsel for the company's employment, compensation, and employee benefit functions. He earned a BBA from the University of Michigan, and is an honors graduate of the University of Michigan Law School.
