Aberdeen, has announced the appointment of Gary Broiles as CIS area manager, Hassan Farshbaf as country manager for Algeria, and Bruce Campbell as UK country manager, all with the Well Services Div.

Aberdeen, has announced the appointment of Gary Broiles as CIS area manager, Hassan Farshbaf as country manager for Algeria, and Bruce Campbell as UK country manager, all with the Well Services Div.

Broiles earned a BS in mechanical engineering from Texas Tech University. He joined BJ Services upon its acquisition of The Western Co. in 1995, and most recently had been UK country manager for the Well Services Div.

Originally from Tabriz, Iran, Farshbaf earned his BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois. He has 26 years of oil industry experience, including posts throughout the Middle East and Asia. He joined BJ Services in 1992.

Campbell has more than 24 years of experience in the oil industry, and has been with BJ Services since the company acquired his employer, Nowsco.

BJ Services Co. is a leading global provider of pressure pumping and related oil field services.

Sproule Associates Inc.

Houston and Calgary, has hired Mark A. Clemans as manager of its Texas-based office in Houston. Clemans received a BS in petroleum and natural gas engineering from Pennsylvania State University, and an MBA from the University of New Orleans. He previously served with ExxonMobil, and most recently with Netherland, Sewell & Associates.

Sproule Associates Inc. is a subsidiary of Sproule Associates Ltd., Calgary, a privately owned geological, geophysical, and petroleum engineering consulting company founded in 1951. The Sproule Group specializes in the evaluation of oil, natural gas, and by-product reserves, as well as unproven properties. The companies also provide a wide range of geoscience, petroleum engineering, and educational services.

CBIZ Valuation Group

Atlanta, has announced the appointment of Domenic J. Falcone as national industry director for its energy practice. Falcone will be responsible for business development in valuation, litigation support, management consulting, and mergers and acquisitions in the energy and power industries.

Formerly chief financial officer of PG&E Energy Services, president of Creston Financial Group, and COO/CFO of two startup companies, Falcone has 30 years of industry experience. He holds a BS in economics from Villanova University, and is a CPA. He will be based in the company's Princeton, NJ, office.

GE Energy Rentals Inc.

Atlanta, has named Luis Ramirez as president and general manager. Ramirez received a BS degree in computer information systems from Devry Institute of Technology in Atlanta, and completed an executive management program at Duke University.

GE Energy Rentals was formed by GE Power Systems to offer rental equipment for temporary distributed power and climate control applications in the commercial, industrial, utility, oil and gas, and special events industries. Its products include natural gas-fired engines, diesel generators, a portable power plant, air conditioners, and water-cooled chillers.

Tubular Resources Pte. Ltd.

Singapore, is a new joint venture formed by Tianjin Pipe Corp., Airtrust (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., and Hunting Oilfield Services International. The company's mission is to exclusively distribute oil country tubular products and line pipe manufactured by Tianjin into Southeast Asia.

Tianjin Pipe Corp. manufactures seamless pipe. Airtrust (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. manages oil well maintenance, steel fabrication, and construction in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Houston-based Hunting Oilfield Services International supplies vertically integrated tubular systems, trenchless drilling technology, and slickline tools from centers in Canada, China, Europe, Asia, South America, and the US.
