The set consists of ABI and RODEC tubing rotators, New Era and Patco rod guides, and Hercules rod rotators.

The tubing rotators attach to the wellhead at the surface.

With designs available for reciprocating beam and progressing cavity pump systems, rotators provide continuous, slow rotation of the production tubing to distribute wear evenly.

Additionally, manual, electric, and mech anical options are available.

Rod guides are made from a complete line of engineered plastics enhanced with performance additives to maximize production and decrease workover costs by centering the sucker rod string within the production tubing.

Rod rotators are engineered for reciprocating beam pump systems and are available for steel and fiber glass sucker rods.

Rotators slowly rotate the rod string to distribute sucker rod, rod guide, and tubing wear evenly, helping to prolong the performance life of downhole components, the firm says.

Free brochure describes downhole systems

A new, free brochure describes the VELOX velocity and straddle system.

As a velocity system, the new tool prevents water from cutting off gas production.

As a straddle system, it can pack off damaged tubing. Both production problems can he solved in a one-trip, through-tubing operation.

Installed as a velocity string, the VELOX system reduces the ID of the production tubing and increases the velocity of the produced gas to prevent water from cutting off gas production.

Run as a through-tubing straddle system, it can isolate and pack off a predetermined section of parted or damaged tubing.

Vibration monitor for oil field operations

The new 4500-S (or small) on line vibration monitor offers an economical solution to the need for smaller continuous monitoring applications associated with rotating equipment in oil field production and processing operations.

The monitor is designed for applications requiring 12 or fewer signal channels, including 2 tachometers and 2 input-output relays.

Utilizing the same multiprocessor design as the larger 4500-R (or racked), the 4500-S incorporates a number of characteristics for on line condition monitoring, including event-driven data collection, report-upon-exception alarms, local data reduction, and dual channel capability.

Up to 16 megabytes of on-board data buffer memory enhance network fault tolerance when a plant LAN is not available.

The 4500-S is housed in a compact stainless steel enclosure measuring 15 by 8 by 9 in.

Tool measures sulfur in products

The EX-310S analyzer provides rapid and precise measurement of total sulfur in petroleum products as described in ASTM method D4294-sulfur in petrtoleum and and petroleum products by energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry.

It also measures sulfur in diesel, naphtha, kerosine, residuals, lubricating base oils, hydraulic oils, jet fuels, crudes, gasoline, and other distillates.

The instrument promises accurate sulfur determinations with little or no sample preparation and performs automated analysis with the click of a mouse.

The analyzer provides refiners with a tool to meet lower sulfur regulations and perform other regulatory and process analyses on the same instrument.

The instrument's high resolution light element advanced performance detector's enhanced peak to background ratio, flux, and ability to handle higher count rates provide sensitivity for sulfur analysis.

The EX-310S has a 15 kv, 9 w silver X-ray tube source, single sample chamber, four software selectable tube filters, and one specialized sulfur filter, external custom PC, and EX Win analytical software.
