Dallas, has named J. Scott Matthews as senior vice-president of corporate development. Matthews has over 22 years of industry experience. He holds a BS degree in finance from the University of California-Berkeley, and an MBA in international business from the San Francisco State University Center for World Business.

Dresser Inc. is a global provider of engineered equipment and services sold primarily to customers in the flow control, measurement systems, and power systems segments of the energy industry.

Intergraph Process, Power & Offshore

Huntsville, Ala., is the new name for the Process & Building Solutions division of Intergraph Corp. The division continues its 23-year history of industry expertise and pioneering engineering, design, materials and information management software and services to facility owners and engineering firms in the process, power, and offshore petroleum industries.

Gerhard Sallinger has been appointed president of the division. Leadership promotions include Ben Eazzetta, named executive vice-president of global sales, marketing and business development; and Beverly R. Staley, named vice-president of global marketing. John Eichstaedt has joined the division as executive director of business development.

Mission Woods, Kan., has announced the appointment of Colin B. Kinley as president of its Specialty Products & Services Division. He is responsible for the division's management and growth, directing specialized drilling and technical services, and oversees execution of large-scale and extreme-access projects throughout North America.

Kinley has specialized knowledge and experience in Arctic and remote operations, with coal bed methane drilling, wireline coring, dual-wall air-rotary drilling, air-lift reverse circulation drilling, heavy oil exploration drilling, and large-scale oil sands exploration and development. His entire career has been with Elgin Exploration, which became Layne Christensen Canada in 1995. Most recently he served as its president and as vice-president of Christensen Boyles Corp.

Layne Christensen Specialty Products Division, based in Calgary, encompasses several business enterprises, including Shawnee Oil & Gas, Vibration Technologies, Toledo Oil & Gas, Colog Geophysical, WorldCover, and Layne Christensen Canada.

Houston, has announced the appointment of William L. Helms as executive corporate sponsor on major contracts for the senior project management group. Helms, who has 33 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry, served most recently as vice-president of operations for Stone & Web ster's Petrochemical Division.

Mustang Engineering, a Wood Group company, is an independent services provider specializing in design, engineering, procurement, project management, and construction management of up stream oil and gas facilities and structures, process plants, pipelines, and automation and control projects.

UWG Group

Norwich and Aberdeen, UK, has ap pointed Tom Leeson as general manager of equipment, sales, and rental division; and Duncan Fell as technical sales engineer. The appointments coincide with the open ing of UWG's new facilities in city center of Aberdeen, reflecting the company's expanding operations in that region.

Leeson has over 12 years of experience in the industry, including 7 years with The Expro Group. Fell served for 19 years with Cooper Cameron before joining UWG Group.

UWG Group comprises UWG Ltd., Team Energy Resources Ltd., Claxton En gineer ing Ltd., and 2H Offshore Engineering Ltd. It provides engineering and equipment solutions in the deepwater riser, rigless well intervention/decommissioning markets.
