Nelsen has more than 20 years of refinery experience in the areas of cyanide control, specialty chemicals, amine cleaning, and oxidation of spent caustics. He will pursue international market development in addition to his domestic responsibilities.

Millard has over 13 years of experience providing specialized reclaiming services to the oil refining and gas processing industries. Previously with CCR Technologies Inc., Millard will relocate to the Houston area from Calgary.

MPR Services Inc., a subsidiary of Tessenderlo Kerley Inc., provides technologically advanced equipment, processes, and analytical services for cleaning and recovery of amine and glycol solutions used in oil refining, gas processing, ammonia production, and steel manufacturing.

Tessenderlo Kerley Inc. (TKI), headquartered in Phoenix, Ariz., manufactures and markets sulfur-based products to the agricultural, process, and mining industries in North, Central, and South America, and selected other countries. TKI is part of Tessenderlo Group, Brussels, Belgium, a worldwide leader in chemical manufacturing and marketing.

Oil States Industries Inc.

Arlington, Tex., has announced its acquisition of Big Inch Marine Systems Inc. from Stolt Offshore Inc.

Big Inch Marine, which provides subsea pipeline connection products and services, will be merged into Oil States HydroTech Division. HydroTech is a world leader in diverless and diver-assist technology for subsea pipeline construction, tie-ins, and repair.

Oil States Industries Inc., a subsidiary of Oil States International Inc., headquartered in Houston, is a diversified provider of innovative oil field products and services.

Pace Project Services Ltd.

Edinburgh, UK, has named Paul Campbell as regional director for the American market, based in Pace's Houston office. Campbell received a civil engineering degree from Texas A&M University, and earned an MBA from Edinburgh University. He has worked internationally for companies including BOC Processing Plants, and Lehrer McGovern Bovis.

Pace Project Services Ltd., a division of the Turner and Townsend Group, offers a diverse range of services including project control services, benchmarking, contract administration, and systems consultancy to the worldwide oil and gas industry. The company also has developed a joint industry initiative entitled Performance Forum, which allows project data to be collected, presented, and measured against other forum members to achieve industry best practice.

Turner and Townsend Group, established in 1946 and headquartered in Leeds, UK, is one of the world's largest independent construction and management consultant firms.

Pinnacle Energy Solutions

Broussard, La., has announced that Robert Hollier, former president and CEO of OSCA, and Steve Brading, former CFO of OSCA, have joined Pinnacle as owners and directors of the company. The announcement was made by Pinnacle president, Michael R. Robicheaux.

Hollier and Brading will assist in developing a business model that provides broad growth potential. The company has operated in the Gulf of Mexico during its two years of operations, and now plans to grow into Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico, and the North Sea.

Pinnacle Energy Solutions provides comprehensive services to exploration, production, and pipeline transmission clients in the areas of contaminated waste fluid treatment resulting from acid stimulation/workover activities, and completions and pipeline maintenance projects.

TAK Petroleum Inc.

Fort Worth, Tex., has elected David Whitney as its president. A graduate of Texas Christian University, Whitney holds CPA and CCP certificates, and has 23 years of oil industry experience in the fields of accounting, finance, employee benefits, and risk management.

Torch Offshore Inc.

New Orleans, has hired David A. Gray as general manager of its deepwater operations. Named to staff the deepwater project management team are Darrell L. Evans, manager-engineering support, and Bruce R. Yoder and Mary Scardino Nash, project engineers.

Gray, who has 19 years of offshore industry experience in his more than 26-year engineering career, holds a BSME from Penn State University. He joins Torch from Stolt Offshore Inc. Evans, Yoder, and Nash also were previously with Stolt Offshore.

Torch Offshore Inc., established in 1978, is involved in offshore pipeline installation, and subsea construction for the oil and natural gas industry. The company is expanding beyond its established shallow water market in order to serve the industry's worldwide growing needs in deep waters.
