Stratford, Conn., has appointed Charles S. Wolley as president. Wolley previously held executive positions with Leslie Controls, Dresser Valve & Controls, Van Leeuwen Pipe & Tube, and joined Dresser Measurement & Control in 2001 as senior vice-president.

Stratford, Conn., has appointed Charles S. Wolley as president. Wolley previously held executive positions with Leslie Controls, Dresser Valve & Controls, Van Leeuwen Pipe & Tube, and joined Dresser Measurement & Control in 2001 as senior vice-president. He holds a BS degree in industrial engineering from Cornell University.

Calvin E. Kish has been named vice-president and general manager of Dresser Instruments, a sub-unit of Dresser Measurement & Control. Kish began service with Dresser as a senior project engineer, and has led the international instrument business through a period of expansion and increased profitability for the past 12 years.

Dresser Measurement & Control is a business unit of Dresser Inc., headquartered in Dallas. Dresser Inc. is a worldwide leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of highly engineered equipment and services for customers primarily involved in flow control, measurement systems, and power systems segments of the worldwide energy industry.

Energy Scitech Ltd.

Woking, Surrey, UK, has announced the formation of Energy Scitech Inc., with headquarters in Houston. Jim Clark has been named vice-president to head the new office and lead Scitech's expansion in the Americas.

Clark brings 20 years of experience to the position, including work with Chevron, XTO Energy, and Mariner Energy. He recently designed the reservoir development strategy for the King Kong deepwater project while with Mariner.

Energy Scitetch Ltd. is a privately held independent consultancy and software development company, specializing in services to the energy, finance, and defense industries. Energy services focus on reserves evaluations, asset valuations, hydrocarbon reservoir characterization, and petrophysical interpretation.

Flow Technology Inc.

Phoenix, Ariz., has named Andy Dieball as international sales manager. Dieball has held positions in the flow measurement field for the past 10 years. He earned a BS in mechanical engineering from Colorado School of Mines, and an MBA from Golden Gate University.

Flow Technology Inc. offers a broad product line of flow measurement-related products and services, including precision turbine and positive displacement flowmeters, advanced flow electronics, and high-accuracy flow calibrators. In addition, the company maintains one of the world's largest primary standard flowmeter calibration laboratories.

Gas Technology Products LLC

Schaumburg, Ill., has appointed A.J. (Tony) Galloway as Canada sales representative, based in Calgary. Galloway is a chemical engineering graduate of the University of British Columbia, and holds three patents in chemical methodology, including a method for removing sulfides from natural gas. He has more than 15 years of experience in the Canadian gas processing, petrochemical, and pulp & paper industries.

Gas Technology Products LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Merichem Chemicals & Refinery Services LLC, offers an extensive portfolio of hydrogen sulfide removal processes, systems, and products for a wide range of applications.

Inpro/Seal Co.

Rock Island, Ill., has announced the completion of a multi-million dollar expansion of its headquarters operations. The company completed a 28,000 sq ft expansion of its manufacturing facility, part of the headquarters complex, earlier this year.

Inpro/Seal invented the bearing isolator in 1976, and has continued on the cutting edge of sealing, process, and bearing technologies. Inpro products are marketed to the petroleum, refining, nuclear, power generation, wastewater treatment, and a host of other industrial markets.

JDR Cable Systems

Houston, has appointed James Drapela and Scott Menard as technical sales managers, Bruno Ramos as inside sales engineer, Wayne Perrard as applications engineer, and Morag Payne as group marketing manager.

Drapela is a graduate of Texas A&M University, and has 12 years of experience with Halliburton. Menard has over 24 years of experience in the industry, most recently with Kvaerner. Ramos is a University of Texas graduate with experience in production equipment sales to the oil and gas industry. Perrard, a graduate of the University of Texas, has worked in the wire and cable industry. Payne has 10 years of marketing experience.

Oil States Industries Inc.

Arlington, Tex., has announced its acquisition of Big Inch Marine Systems Inc. from Stolt Offshore Inc.

Big Inch Marine, which provides subsea pipeline connection products and services, will be merged into Oil States HydroTech Division. HydroTech is a world leader in diverless and diver-assist technology for subsea pipeline construction, tie-ins, and repair.

Oil States Industries Inc., a subsidiary of Oil States International Inc., headquartered in Houston, is a diversified provider of innovative oil field products and services.
