Peoria, Ill., has appointed Jim Bielenberg as global petroleum manager, to lead its power systems petroleum business worldwide.

Peoria, Ill., has appointed Jim Bielenberg as global petroleum manager, to lead its power systems petroleum business worldwide. Other appointments to the group include Bob Tyson as regional manager for North and Latin America; Dave Blessin as regional manager for Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the former Soviet territories; Tom Holland as regional manager for Asia and the Pacific Rim; and Dave Krenek as technical sales support supervisor.

Caterpillar is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, and industrial turbines.

Collarini Engineering

Houston, has announced the appointment of Dennis Jordan as president. Jordan has been with the company for more than 10 years, and has managed the technical operations for the past 7 years.

Pall Corp.

East Hills, NY, has completed acquisition of Maryland-based Filterite, and other divisions of the Filtration and Separations Group from USFilter Corp., a subsidiary of Vivendi Environment.

The other divisions are Fluid Dynamics, German-based SeitzSchenk and Schumacher, and Exekia, headquartered in France.

Pall Corp. is a global leader in the field of filtration, separation, and purification.

Penspen Ltd.

London, has named David Stanley as chief executive officer. Stanley will be returning to Penspen's London headquarters after spending 3 years in Houston as president of Penspen Inc.

Stanley holds a degree in mechanical engineering, and studied for his MBA at Cranfield.

Penspen Ltd. is an independent onshore and subsea pipeline engineering, construction, and integrity company.

Maag Pump Systems Textron

Zurich, Switzerland, has named Jürg De Pietro as global sales director for the Maag Textron group. De Pietro, a chemical engineering graduate of the Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich, earned his doctorate at the University of Zurich, focusing on metal catalysts. He has over 12 years of experience in the plastics business.

Maag Pump Systems Textron, part of Textron's fluid handling products group, is a leading designer and manufacturer of gear pumps and filter systems for the extrusion, polymer, industrial, and compounding process industries worldwide.

Schlumberger Oilfield Services

Houston, has acquired Canadian-based A. Comeau and Associates Ltd. (ACA), a leading provider of electrical engineering products and services for artificially lifted wells. ACA will continue its operations in Ed mon ton, Alta.

The addition of ACA, and integration of recently acquired Phoenix Petroleum Services, enhances the artificial lift capabilities of Schlum berger.

Schlumberger Oil field Services, a business segment of Schlumberger Ltd., is a leading supplier of technology services and solutions to the international petroleum industry.

Uniqema

New Castle, Del., has appointed Delfino Lares as manager of its oilfield and fiber finish businesses in the Americas. Lares holds a BS degree in chemistry from Loyola University, Chicago, and an MBA in marketing and economics from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, Cleve land.

He has been with Uniqema since 1988. In his new position, Lares will be based in Houston.

Uniqema's portfolio of products in cludes emulsion breaking chemicals and corrosion inhibitors for the production sector, and lubricants and shale inhib itors for the drilling sector. Global headquarters for Uniqema is in The Nether lands.
