New offshore activity map

Now available to the industry is an oil and gas activity map for the Norwegian, Barents, and Baltic seas.

This new map was launched at the Offshore Northern Seas Conference & Exhibition held in Stavanger, Norway, in late August. The activity map highlights all fields currently producing or being planned or considered for development through to 2017.

New clean resin-coated proppants

Preferred RCS is a newly developed clean resin-coated proppant line.

The company says the proppant line was created in response to environmental issues surrounding contaminated frac water. The firm says its proppants emit less VOCs in the manufacturing process and help diminish chemical leaching and dusting, therefore minimizing environmental impact.

The Preferred RCS clean proppant line includes low and intermediate temperature cures.
