PAO Novatek, Moscow, has acquired holders of two exploration and production licenses in Russia from AR Oil & Gas BV, a joint venture of AO Neftegazholding and Repsol SA.
One of the acquisitions, AO South Khadryakhinskoye, holds the license for the South Khadryakhinskoye area near facilities of North Khadryakhinskoye field developed by a Novatek subsidiary.
The other acquisition, AO Eurotek, holds the license for the Syskonsynyinskiy area in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Region, 120 km northwest of Nyagan. The license produced 799 million cu m of natural gas and 6,600 tonnes of condensate during 2016.
