Matt Bell has been tapped as chief executive officer of engineering and geological consulting firm Premier Oilfield Laboratories LLC. The move is effective Aug. 21.
Bell spent the first half of his more than 20-year oil field career with Shell International E&P, where he completed assignments in The Netherlands, Venezuela, Oman, and the US in various engineering and technology roles. In 2007, he joined GEODynamics Inc. and became president and chief executive officer in 2009. He recently served as president at Ikon Science Americas.
