Austria’s OMV AG has signed agreements with Russia’s Gazprom Neft and Gazprom at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
A memorandum of understanding with Gazprom Neft envisions working together in Iran. Possible spheres of cooperation include study of certain oil deposits in cooperation with National Iranian Oil Co.
An MOU with Gazprom outlines potential cooperation in development of natural gas transmission systems for supplies to central and southeastern Europe. The companies also signed a framework agreement regarding a “small-scale LNG production terminal in the area of the Russian Black Sea coast.”
