Baguley named LNGL chief operating officer

John Baguley will become chief operating officer of Liquefied Natural Gas Ltd. effective June 16.

His new role, based in Houston, includes oversight of the Magnolia LNG and Bear Head LNG projects, managing strategic alliances with service providers, and ensuring integration across design, construction, and operations.

Baguley joined LNGL in May 2014 as chief operating officer for Magnolia LNG and took the additional role of chief technical officer for LNGL in November 2015.

He previously spent 30 years with KBR Inc., including his last 13 years at the company as a project director in the delivery of front-end engineering design and engineering, procurement, and construction services for major LNG plants and projects in Indonesia, Australia, Canada, China, Taiwan, and Malaysia.

In addition to his project roles, John also supported KBR in corporate roles as vice-president, LNG development, and vice-president, project management, in the company's gas monetization business unit.
