She succeeds Arya H. Bolurfrushan as chief financial officer. His resignation to pursue other opportunities will be effective Apr. 30, but he will continue as an advisor to the company.
Watson has experience in the oil and gas industry in the Middle East, most recently as the general manager of the company's predecessor, RAK Petroleum PCL, until the summer of 2014. She joined RAK Petroleum PCL as group commercial director in 2007 and previously held commercial management roles with Novus Petroleum Ltd. and Indago Petroleum Ltd.
Bolurfrushan joined RAK Petroleum PCL as management information manager in 2010 and became chief financial officer in 2012. Earlier in his career, he was part of Goldman Sachs’ investment strategy group in New York.
