A Chinese manufacturer involved with PJSC Gazprom’s Bovanenkova natural gas-condensate field on the Yamal peninsula in northern Russia has delivered an LNG gas-processing plant, which has a capacity of 30 billion cu m/year.

Module producer COOED in Qingdao, China, manufactured components, which were transported by logistics provider Zhejang Lida. The heaviest component weighed about 7,000 tonnes. It was moved using a gravel track and then placed on a barge.

Gazprom in January announced it added production and transmission capacity at Bovanenkovskoye.

Gazprom added 88 operating wells, bringing Bovanenkova’s total to 391 wells. Two booster compressor stations with a total capacity of 160 Mw also were brought online. Peak output was 264 million cu m/day, up from 218 million cu m/day (OGJOnline, Jan. 20, 2017).
