Khoshrou will be charged with maximizing NIOC's revenues and reducing its transportation and maintenance costs. He has more than 20 years of experience in Iran’s oil industry, including several posts in NIOC's international department such as deputy of marketing, head of the gas condensate domestic sales office, and head of the price assessment division.
He also has served as head of Iran's Petro-Energy Information Network (Shana) and carried out research activities for the country's Institute for International Energy Studies (IIES).
