Sinopec Geophysical Corp. has completed a 3D seismic acquisition project for Sonatrach in eastern-central Algeria.
Sinopec said the TOUAL survey project, which covered 3,753 sq km in Ouargla and Illizi provinces, was a challenge because of the sand mountains, existing oil wells, and oil and gas pipelines throughout the survey area.
The company cited 3,055 shots in one day.
