Christine Shinnie has been named chief financial officer of Sterling Resources Ltd., Calgary, where she succeeds David Blewden, who left the firm at the end of August.
Shinnie has been with Sterling for 10 years, most recently as financial controller of Sterling Resources (UK) Ltd. and a director of Sterling Resources (UK) Ltd. She has more than 20 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas sector in a range of financial management roles.
