The Research Partnership to Secure Energy for America (RPSEA), a nonprofit research consortium funded by the US government, is reorganizing and changing its financial structure.

The public-private cooperative, which focuses on oil and gas, is combining its Small Producer and Unconventional Resources programs into a single Onshore Program. And it’s renaming its Ultra-Deepwater Program to Offshore Program.

RPSEA also will supplement government funding with support from private industry and nonprofit organizations and foundations.
