Saudi Aramco said operations were unaffected by a minor fire that injured eight workers at its large Ras Tanura oil terminal on the Persian Gulf.

Emergency responders quickly contained the fire, the cause of which is under investigation.

Six contractors and two Aramco employees received medical treatment.

One of the world’s largest terminals, Ras Tanura loads crude oil and LPG carriers at a total of 18 berths on two piers and a sea island.
