Dambisa Moyo and Wanda Austin have been elected to Chevron Corp.'s board effective Oct. 11 and Dec. 1, respectively.
An economist and founder and chief executive officer since 2015 of Mildstorm LLC, Moyo will serve on Chevron's audit committee. During 2001-08, she worked at Goldman Sachs in various roles, including as an economist.
Moyo currently serves on the boards of Barclays PLC, Barrick Gold Corp., SABMiller PLC, and Seagate Technology PLC., and previously served as a director of Lundin Petroleum AB during 2009-12.
President and chief executive officer of The Aerospace Corp. since 2008, Austin will serve on Chevron's board nominating and governance committee and public policy committee. She joined The Aerospace Corp. in 1979 and served in various positions, including general manager of the military satellite communications division.
Austin currently serves on the board of The Aerospace Corp., the Horatio Alger Association, the National Geographic Society, and the University of Southern California.
