Little named Marathon Oil executive vice-president, operations

T. Mitch Little has been promoted by Marathon Oil Corp., Houston, to the role of executive vice-president, operations, where he’ll oversee the firm’s resource play and conventional businesses.

T. Mitch Little has been promoted by Marathon Oil Corp., Houston, to the role of executive vice-president, operations, where he’ll oversee the firm’s resource play and conventional businesses.

Little, currently vice-president, conventional, previously served as managing director of Marathon Oil Norge AS and general manager, worldwide drilling and completions. He joined Marathon in 1986, working in engineering, subsurface, and management positions across the firm’s US operations in Oklahoma, Wyoming, Louisiana, and Alaska, as well as internationally in Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, and Libya.

In conjunction with his move, Cathy Krajicek, currently vice-president of technology and innovation, has accepted the role of vice-president, conventional. Bruce McCullough, currently vice-president and chief information officer, has accepted the role of vice-president, technology and innovation, and retains his post as chief information officer. Lance Robertson, vice-president, resource plays, has elected to leave the firm to pursue other opportunities.
