Mark McCollum will resume his role as executive vice-president and chief financial officer of Halliburton Co. effective immediately. He’ll continue to report to Dave Lesar, chairman and chief executive officer, and will remain a member of the company’s executive committee.

McCollum previously acted as chief integration officer between Jan. 1, 2015, and July 1, 2016, during the firm’s attempted merger with Baker Hughes Inc., moving from his post as chief financial officer and executive vice-president, which he held since January 2008. He joined Halliburton in August 2003, serving as chief accounting officer and senior vice-president until December 2007.

Christian Garcia, who assumed McCollum’s chief financial officer responsibilities on an interim basis, will remain with the company as senior vice-president of finance until Aug. 1, at which time he intends to take early retirement.
