Feist tabbed as president of AAPL's executive committee

Pamela D. Feist has been named president of the 2016-17 executive committee of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL). The committee comprises seven members who are appointed together.

Pamela D. Feist has been named president of the 2016-17 executive committee of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL). The committee comprises seven members who are appointed together.

Feist serves as land manager of Lakewood Exploration and vice-president of Lakewood Operating Ltd. in Midland, Tex. She has nearly 40 years of oil and gas industry experience and is the first woman to serve as president in AAPL history.

In addition to her role as president, Feist chairs AAPL’s strategic planning and finance committees and serves on the NAPE management and operators committees.

David W. Miller, first vice-president, is the owner and managing member of Miller Land Professionals LLC in Jackson, Miss. Nationally, Miller serves on AAPL’s financial advisory council and tax issues.

Jeff Niemeyer, second vice-president, is regional project advisor for Anadarko Petroleum Corp.’s northern division land department in Denver. Trinidad Hernandez, third vice-president, is an independent field landman based in San Antonio.

W. Russell Shaw, secretary, is vice-president of Dudley Land Co. in Oklahoma City. Jim Bourbeau, treasurer, is president and owner of Jim Bourbeau Land Service Inc. and Surfside Abstracting Inc. in Conneaut Lake, Pa. Marc R. Strahn, immediate past president, is president of The Wolf Haven Corp. and High Story Ventures Inc. in Story, Wyo.
