A subsidiary of EnLink Midstream Partners LP and EnLink Midstream LLC have launched an open season for their Greater Chickadee crude oil gathering system in the Permian basin. The companies announced plans for the system last month (OGJ Online, June 8, 2016).

The partnership will invest $70-80 million in the Greater Chickadee crude oil gathering project, which will include more than 150 miles of high- and low-pressure pipelines that will transport crude volumes to several major market outlets and other hub centers in the Midland area.

The Greater Chickadee line will be built in Upton and Midland counties in Texas. The design capacity of the system will be determined by the level of interest shown by potential shippers during this open season, the companies said. The open season will close at 5 p.m. CST on Aug. 10.
