Ahmed Saeed Al Calily has been appointed chief executive officer of the energy platform of Mubadala, Abu Dhabi’s state-owned investment company.
He will oversee Mubadala Petroleum and Masdar, Mubadalla’s clean-energy initiative. He also will serve on Mubadala’s investment committee.
Calily since 2009 has been director general of the Abu Dhabi Technology Development Committee.
Homaid Al Shimmari, who has been CEO of the energy platform since February, will continue as CEO of Mubadala’s aerospace and engineering services platform and as a member of the investment committee.
