Rajesh Sharma, assistant general counsel of Apache Corp., will assume the additional role of corporate secretary on July 11.
He will succeed Cheri L. Peper, who will retire in August and assist in the transition as assistant secretary.
Sharma has worked with Apache since 2009 and became assistant general counsel in 2014.
