SIBUR has completed a process of organizational and staff changes, including the transfer of a number of management functions to the regional level.

The firm says the “new management system is designed to facilitate SIBUR’s development strategy implementation in the most balanced way.”

SIBUR Holding’s management board includes Chairman Dmitry Konov, Mikhail Karisalov, Alexey Kozlov, Sergey Lukichev, Alexander Petrov, and Vladimir Razumov.

SIBUR’s management board includes Chairman Dmitry Konov, Konstantin Belkin, Rustam Galiakhmetov, Mikhail Karisalov, Alexey Kozlov, Sergey Komyshan, Boris Lim, Sergey Lukichev, Pavel Lyakhovich, Oleg Makarov, Marina Medvedeva, Mikhail Mikhailov, Vasily Nomokonov, Alexander Petrov, and Vladimir Razumov.

Mikhail Karisalov, formerly SIBUR’s executive director, has been appointed chief operating officer. Vladimir Razumov will head SIBUR’s research and development, organizational projects management, and ethics and discipline committees.

Oleg Makarov, Vasily Nomokonov, and Sergey Komyshan, SIBUR’s management board members and managing directors, are now the management board members and executive directors in charge of the company’s key functional and production development areas.

In addition, Alexander Petrov, managing director for economics and finance; Rustam Galiakhmetov, industrial performance director; Marina Medvedeva, director for shared services and management bodies; have been appointed new members of the management board.

An increase in gas fractionation and polymerization capacities, integration of power generation assets, and construction of the new ZapSibNeftekhim complex are set to increase the role of the Tobolsk production site for SIBUR. Therefore, SIBUR has made the Tobolsk production site a standalone business unit similar to a division.

That business unit is headed by Konstantin Belkin, SIBUR’s management board member and managing director of the Tobolsk production site.

The plastics and organic synthesis division and the synthetic rubbers division have been merged into one business unit named plastics, elastomers, and organic synthesis division. Pavel Lyakhovich, SIBUR’s management board member and managing director, will continue being in charge of this division.

The hydrocarbons division has been reorganized to streamline production assets performance management. SiburTyumenGas, formerly part of the hydrocarbons division, now directly reports to the company’s chief operating officer. Uralorgsintez has become part of the plastics, elastomers, and organic synthesis division.
