Roger Esson has been named chief executive of Decom North Sea, Aberdeen, a group representing the offshore decommissioning industry.
Esson, with 20 years of related experience, has worked with Stork Technical Services and Amec Foster Wheeler's decommissioning division.
Karen Seath has been interim chief executive of the group.
