Bayou Bridge starts Nederland-to-Lake Charles operations, St. James on schedule

Bayou Bridge Pipeline LLC has started commercial operations on its 30-in. OD segment from Nederland, Tex., to Lake Charles, La. Bayou Bridge also completed a successful binding open season for a second 24-in. OD segment of the pipeline from Lake Charles to St. James, La.

Bayou Bridge Pipeline LLC has started commercial operations on its 30-in. OD segment from Nederland, Tex., to Lake Charles, La. Bayou Bridge also completed a successful binding open season for a second 24-in. OD segment of the pipeline from Lake Charles to St. James, La.

At Lake Charles, Bayou Bridge has agreed to connect to Phillips 66 Partners’ Clifton Ridge terminal and Citgo’s Lake Charles refinery. At St. James, Bayou Bridge has agreed to connections to Plains Marketing LP’s and NuStar Energy LP’s crude oil terminals. Bayou Bridge is still negotiating with other crude oil terminal operators in the region.

Bayou Bridge remains on schedule to start commercial operations on the St. James segment in second-half 2017.

The pipeline is jointly owned by subsidiaries of Phillips 66 Partners LP, Energy Transfer Partners LP, and Sunoco Logistics Partners LP.
