Bear Paw Pipeline Corp. Inc. has filed environmental documents with Nova Scotian authorities for a pipeline linking the proposed Bear Head LNG export plant at Point Tupper, NS, with the North American natural gas network.

Bear Paw is an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Liquefied Natural Gas Ltd., which plans to build the 8 million-tonne/year LNG facility (OGJ Online, Mar. 3, 2015). Bear Paw would build and operate the 38.8-mile pipeline, connecting with existing systems at Goldboro.

The pipeline subsidiary said Bear Head has all initial permits needed to build the LNG plant and holds export licenses from the Canadian and US governments.
