Statoil ASA has let a long-term contract to Prezioso Linjebygg AS of France to provide insulation, scaffolding, and surface treatment (ISO) maintenance services at the Sture and Kollsnes processing plants in western Norway.
Under the 10-year framework agreement, Prezioso Linjebygg will deliver maintenance services at both plants for all ISO disciplines, as well as rope access technique, rigging, and other related tasks, Statoil said.
Valued at 1.1 billion kroner, the ISO contract comes as part of the current review and renegotiation of maintenance and ISO agreements at all of Statoil’s processing installations, the operator said.
Owned and operated by Gassco AS, the Gassled joint venture, the Kollsnes gas processing plant west of Bergen has the capacity to treat as much as 143 million standard cu m/day of gas that arrives from North Sea fields Troll, Kvitebjorn, and Visund.
At the Sture oil terminal north of Bergen, processing plants recover a mix of LPG (propane and butane) and naphtha from crude and condensate arriving via pipeline from Oseberg area and Grane field.
