Shell Canada announces appointments

Michael Crothers has been appointed president and country chair for Shell Canada Ltd. and Zoe Yujnovich has been named executive vice-president, heavy oil.

Michael Crothers has been appointed president and country chair for Shell Canada Ltd. and Zoe Yujnovich has been named executive vice-president, heavy oil.

Crothers became vice-president, North America unconventionals, a year ago and will retain that position.

Crothers has led teams in Shell’s upstream and downstream businesses, including as managing director of Shell E&P Ireland from 2011 to 2014 for the Corrib gas venture (OGJ Online, Dec. 30, 2015). He joined Shell in 1987.

Yujnovich is responsible for the Albian Sands mining facilities, the Scotford upgrader, and in situ operations (OGJ Online, May 4, 2011).

Yujnovich joined Shell in 2014 as vice-president, oil sands joint venture, and has more than 20 years of experience in the mining industry.
