Woodside-led Browse FLNG JV lets second FEED contract

The Woodside Petroleum Ltd.-led Browse floating LNG (FLNG) joint venture has let a second contract to Wood Group Kenny for front-end engineering and design for the FLNG project, 300 km offshore Kimberley, Western Australia.

The contract involves the configuration design of the flexible risers and umbilicals for the development of the three gas and condensate fields comprising the project: Torosa, Brecknock, and Calliance.

Wood Group began its first contract for the project earlier this year with FEED studies for the subsea flowline (OGJ Online, July 1, 2015).

Work will be completed by Wood Group’s Perth-based staff.
