Damiris named HollyFrontier president, chief executive officer

George Damiris has been promoted to president and chief executive officer of HollyFrontier Corp. and appointed to the company’s board. An employee of the company since 2007, Damiris has been executive vice-president and chief operating officer since September 2014.

Michael Jennings, who had been chief executive officer, has been named executive chairman of the company and will continue as chief executive officer and president of Holly Energy Partners, a partly owned logistics affiliate of HollyFrontier.
