PDO signs six compressor contracts worth $650 million

Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) said it signed six contracts worth $650 million for the supply, installation, and maintenance of 29 centrifugal compressors for 11 projects.

Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) said it signed six contracts worth $650 million for the supply, installation, and maintenance of 29 centrifugal compressors for 11 projects.

Sites include Yibal Khuff, Lekhwair, Mabrouk, and the second phase of the Saih Nihayda and Kauther depletion compression projects (OGJ Online, Apr. 3, 2013; July 25, 2012; July 2, 2009; Aug. 27, 2004).

Contracts were signed with Siemens LLC, General Electric International LLC, the Omani firm OHI Petroleum & Energy Services LLC, and MAN Diesel & Turbo Schweiz AG.
