Jurong Shipyard Pte. Ltd. has let a topsides detailed engineering and procurement services contract to Technip SA as part of the conversion of a shuttle tanker into a floating production, storage, and offloading vessel, built at the Jurong Shipyard in Singapore.
The FPSO, which will be based in Libra field offshore Brazil in 2,500 m of water, will have a capacity of 50,000 bo/d and 4 MMcfd of natural gas.
Technip’s operating center in Kuala Lumpur will execute the contract, scheduled for completion during second-half 2016.
