Suncor Energy Inc. has completed 8 weeks of scheduled maintenance at its 85,000-b/d refinery at Sarnia, Ont., the company said (OGJ Online, Sept. 9, 2014).
The planned maintenance work, which began on Sept. 8, was part of the facility’s ongoing maintenance program designed to support safe, reliable operations, Suncor said.
Details regarding the specific activities executed during the maintenance period were not disclosed.
The company previously wrapped a month of planned maintenance at its 142,000-b/d refinery at Edmonton, Alta., in early October (OGJ Online, Oct. 8, 2014).
